About this site

MoveAlbans is an independent moving-information and lead-introduction service operated by a UK sole trader through man-and-van-stalbans.co.uk. It does not operate vehicles, perform removals or sell moving services to visitors.

Comparison requests

Submitting a request is free and does not create a booking. Availability, response numbers and prices vary. You are responsible for checking the identity, insurance, terms, exclusions, availability and suitability of any mover before booking.

Partner vetting and your due diligence

We review partner applications and relevant business, identity, insurance or supporting credential evidence before accepting a mover for use. This vetting helps us select partners, but it is not a guarantee that every credential remains current or that a mover is suitable for every job. You remain responsible for checking each responding mover’s identity, current insurance, credentials, written scope, price and terms. You decide which removal company to use.

Moving contracts

Any booking or moving contract is made directly between you and the chosen mover. This site is not a party to that contract and does not guarantee that a mover will respond or that a quoted price will remain unchanged when job details differ.

Planning ranges and content

Any price range is an early planning estimate, not a final quote. Property, route and access information is general guidance and should be checked against current conditions and official sources where necessary.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, the site operator is not responsible for a mover’s acts, omissions or services, or for losses arising from inaccurate information supplied in a request.
